Thiago worked as a music consultant for the Ministry of Culture (federal public agency for culture) in 2009, working in cooperation with associations and foundations, in discussing mechanisms tax waiver, the state legislatures of music, among other guidelines.
In 2010 he was appointed director of the Center for Music of the National Arts Foundation (FUNARTE) where he worked to strengthen the diversity of Brazilian music abroad, taking part in several international music fairs such as Womex, Midem and Baffin. He also supported the creation of a national association of independent music named Rede Música Brazil, strengthening the dialogue between civil society and government.
Also works with actions related to art education, as:
- researcher, consultant e music tecnician for the development of the socia-cultural program "Vale-Música" – Fundação Vale do Rio Doce.
- teacher in music workshops at Brasilândia neighborhood – Teatro da Vertigem artistic residence program.
- teacher in the music improvisation course of the choreography residence program of Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade – Secretaria da Cultura do Estado de São Paulo.
- teacher in sound and music workshops at programs of the Secretaria da Educação da Prefeitura de São Caetano do Sul - SP
Based in São Paulo also works with career management for groups and musicians with an emphasis on new models and management tools, such as groups: Bixiga70 - bigband intrumental of afrobeat, Martinez - instrumental quartet jazz and funk and Vitor Lopes and Emiliano Castro original brazilian duo of guitar and harmonica.
Ahead of ÁguaForte develops special projects of recording and publishing, always predicting a large and detailed content with integrated actions and ramifications at short and medium term.
Allying concepts of co-creation, collaborative management and transparency, and using new mechanisms as crowdfunding and collaboration network, ÁguaForte keeps always a high level on music, art and technique in its releases, having records on best of the year categories in 2011 and 2012 and a Grammy nominee for the Bixiga70 record, with which has created a reference in career planning and strategy both in national and international levels.
